We build them into the site properly the first time, not set on top of it.
A pavilion is a bigger commitment than a pergola, usually a solid roof, sometimes finished walls or screens. That means the footings and framing have to be sized correctly from the start. We build them to hold their own weight plus a Wisconsin winter’s worth of snow.
