About Madison Green Team
A landscaping and lawn care company based in Verona, working across Dane County since 2010.
In 2010, Matt Geier bought a used mower off Craigslist, put it in the back of his truck, and started Madison Green Team.
The equipment is better now. What hasn’t changed is who picks up when you call.
Hey, There! I'm Matt
I started landscaping during my college summers, never imagining it would become my life’s work. After college, I spent eight years working in the industry learning the craft, gaining hands-on experience, and understanding what it truly takes to deliver quality work.
Eventually, I took a leap of faith and started my own company. What began as one person with a strong work ethic has grown into the Madison Green Team we are today.
As our company has grown, we have continued to embrace better strategies, modern technology, and proven techniques. But one thing has never changed: our commitment to treating every property with care and improving with every project.
We don’t simply want to complete your project. We want to earn your trust, deliver work we are proud to put our name on, and create an outdoor space your family will enjoy for years to come.

I started landscaping during my college summers and continued working in the industry for eight years after graduation. In 2010, I took a chance and started Madison Green Team. What inspires me is seeing an ordinary yard become a beautiful space where families can gather and create lasting memories. After more than 15 years in business, our goal remains simple: earn your trust, deliver expert craftsmanship, and create outdoor spaces built to be enjoyed for years.

MISSION
We transform outdoor spaces into lasting works of art, combining our deep roots in lawn care expertise with bold landscaping and hardscaping craftsmanship to help every client fall in love with their property, one project at a time.
VISION
To be the region's most trusted name in outdoor transformation, recognized not just for maintaining beautiful lawns, but for building the landscapes and hardscapes that turn houses into homes and yards into destinations.
You Call, You Get Matt
Most companies this size put a salesperson between you and the person doing the work. When you call Madison Green Team, you are talking to the owner. He walks the property, he writes the quote, and he runs the crew that shows up.
That also means you get a straight answer about what your yard needs, including the times the answer is that you don’t need what you called about.
